RN & CNA Help Needed at St. Claire’s

March 16, 2012 No Comments

St. Claire’s Medical Center in Morehead has been running at surge capacity since the tornados hit that region. They also took many of the patients from Morgan County ARH after they were hit. Some of their staff also are dealing with broken homes and family issues related to the storm, and they have asked the Kentucky Public Health “K-HELPS” system to see if there are some Registered Nurses and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) who would be willing to do temporary PRN fill-in work at St. Claire’s Medical Center to relieve their regular staff for awhile.

Volunteers willing to assist with tornado relief can register with K Helps online at https://khelps.chfs.ky.gov. Individuals interested (RNs and CNAs are desperately needed) should go to the “medical group” within the website of the “Medical Reserve Corps (MRC),” submit all of their information, and a representative of their local MRC will contact them.
